2017 Kepe Tempranillo

This Spanish red is Pinot Noir’s bigger brother that has tattoos and piercings. 2017 Kepe Tempranillo is a dry, medium-bodied red thart starts with aromas of dark red cherries, raspberry, cranberry, pomegranate, dill, sawdust, and oak joined by notes of lavender and tarragon on the palate. The fruit component is ripe, with red fruit dominating. Slightly coarse tannins beg for fattier foods like pork belly or chicharron.
